My Family is Like Hot Sauce

Salsa and Nachos

My family is like
hot sauce

Things between us
can get hot

We go well together
We can be our own little party

We usually get along,
unless something's wrong

Sometimes we're all right
Sometimes we're a little stale

Just about everyone
likes us.

And we're just plain simple.

A Question to Make You Question?

?A Question to Ponder?
If Jesus can walk on water, can he swim on land?

Reccomendation

Over my winter break, I got a book from my lovely sister, Hope. She gave me a book called
Girls Don't Fly by Kristen Chandler. The main character's name is Myra. She gets an opportunity to go on a science trip to the Galapagos Islands. But, she has to go up against her ex-boyfriend and raise $1000, write a report on a topic, and take care of her pregnant sister and four younger brothers. It is a really good book. I enjoyed it very much. It is also, semi-predictable. It's how she does it that matters.

This is Myra's topic. A Flightless Cormorant

A Great Celebration

It's a winter's night but, pretty warm for the near end of December. It was Christmas morning. I was awoken by my older sister. She had been up for a while because she had another Christmas to go to. Everyone finally came down. The newlyweds take the longest. We opened gifts. Children first parents in between. Then, our person. Which we had since Thanksgiving night -when we drew our person's name from a bowl-to get a present. Youngest to oldest. Revealing that secret person. Then, it's time to hit the kitchen. We have a Christmas dinner in five hours. Everyone has food to make. Me, strawberry pretzel salad and monkey bread. In the end it was just a great celebration.
